Bridgette Grace
Bio

Bridgette is a vibrant and vivacious soprano with a multi-octave range and has great versatility to her voice. Currently she specializes in rock and pop and has the ability to cover both female and male vocalists infusing her own style, while maintaining the integrity of the original. Bridgette's vocal influences include: Aretha Franklin, Ann Wilson (Heart), Eva Cassidy, Alicia Keyes, Joss Stone, Sass Jordan,  Gretchen Wilson, Fergie, Gwen Stefani, Pink, Anastacia, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson,  Amy Lee (Evanescence), Amy Winehouse, and Christina Aguilera to name just a few.

Bridgette's previous bands include Caught Looking, The Ringtones, and Ultravelvet. She has also subbed for the lead singers of Bottoms Up and Confetti. These bands varied in style from alternative rock, variety pop/rock to corporate/wedding music! Bridgette also partnered in an acoustic pop/rock project titled Velvet Bottom, featuring Fred Johnson, currently of Betty Might, on Guitar.

Bridgette got her start in music as a ballroom dancer, hence her love and appreciation for all styles of music, and she has performed, both as a dancer and singer, at various charity events and senior centers in South Florida, where she lived in the late 80's. She began to formally pursue singing in 2004 and studied Speech Level Singing, the method used by more than 100 Grammy Award winning artists, with Badiene Magaziner, a certified Seth Riggs instructor from Bridgette's home state, NJ. Upon moving to the Chicago area in 2005, Bridgette chose to keep  her voice in shape using Brett Manning's Singing Success program, which follows many of the principles of Speech Level Singing.

Bridgette has recently begun learning guitar. She would like to try her hand at songwriting with the hope of recording and releasing her own CD in the next few years!
